Walmart itself will do free unlimited space too if you buy at least one photo per year. I might look in to that too and share the membership with my wife so that Walmart doesn’t hit the kill switch and wipe out an account with thousands of photos.
http://www.snapfish.com/ – I’ll give it a try… Hope they have something as cool as Winkflash’s transporter, but something that won’t break. I need something like that because manually uploading each photo one at a time would take a very long time for me or anyone else looking in to this sort of service that has literally thousands of photos!

I just started uploading a little over 3000 photos to Snapfish… let’s see how this works. I’m going to walk away from the computer now for a few hours. In theory, when I get back, it should be done or still whirring away in the upload process.
I’m still shopping around for free image sites since Winkshare’s Transporter stopped working for me…

Tried T35 before… it’s an ok server, but they used to put in tons of ads. Also, not sure it’s good to use for simple photo sharing.

Call me a cheapskate or whatever, but someone should offer this stuff for free… Why, mainly because for photographers, it’s really going to suck when they die and their estate accidentally reformats the hard drive or something and blamo – AN ENTIRE LIFE OF ARTWORK IS GONE simply because someone forgot to pay the monthly bill for one of these online places…
The search for image hosts continues… The following place has a lot of promises but I don’t know if they’ll be around long enough, like many of their predecessors with similar promises…
